I have never been a fun of cats but I must admit, cat accessories are definitely cute and adorable! When I was playing The Sims, one expansion pack had pets and I always buy the best stuff for my kitties and doggies. I especially like the cat tree that keeps the cats occupied -- coz if they are bored, they have this tendency to ruin my sofas and even pee on my rugs! Gahh! And yes, this is still in The Sims (a helluva addicting game by the way!), very true to life huh?? Hehe! 

Malagos Garden Resort MACAW!

I've been to many animal shows (dolphin, sealion, horse, dog, etc) but I've never seen a bird show before. And I was in luck coz Malagos Garden Resort (where we are right now for the Shell Family Day and Christmas Party 2007) has one. And an interactive show at that! The show is hosted by Dr. Bo, a vet and boy, was I impressed :-) The show featured doves, parrots, macaws, ducks, brahminy kites, hawks and several other raptors. There was a basketball game, a waste segregation lesson, a courtship, name it- the Malagos Bird Show had it. Hehe! If you're interested, there's a show every Sunday at 10am. Go watch!Ü

Ocean Adventure 1 - Stingrays!

If wanna to experience HongKong's Ocean Park here in the Philippines, go and visit Ocean Adventure in Subic! For only P400, you can watch a sealion show, a dolphin show, and visit their oceanarium (aquarium) from where this video of 3 stingrays (with a cleaner wrasse and cleaner shrimp) is taken from. Me, Ariz & his gf, and Earvin (my 2 pesky brothers) went to Ocean Adventure last November 3, and I tell you, we truly enjoyed every moment of it! Sulit kaayo ang biyahe gikan Makati, hehe! =) Anyway, enjoy and watch out for the next videos!

ever heard of a Teacup Yorkie?

What’s that you ask? When I first heard it, I thought it was one of those antique china set from old England. Much like a Tudor furniture or something like that. Well, I was sooo far from right, lol! A Teacup Yorkie or a Teacup Yorkshire Terrier is actually a toy dog breed, BUT according to MoonlightKennels.com, there is no such dog classification per AKC.org definition of what is a Yorkshire Terrier (“Weight: Must not exceed seven pounds.”). So, if there is no Teacup Yorkie, why are there dog breeders that claim to sell Teacup Yorkie puppies? Well, for one, they want to make money off less knowledgeable people who don’t know that there is no such thing as a Teacup Yorkie. So, next time somebody offers you a pretty toy dog (like the photos below) and tell you it’s a “teacup” Yorkie, correct them and make sure other people won’t get victimized. The Gilded Paw

I just have to share The Gilded Paw with you guys! If you have dogs and cats, and you like to buy them stuff, then The Gilded Paw is for you! Last time, I posted about their super cutie dog beds, today I’ll tell you about their distinctive dog collars. I’m sorry if I favor dogs but I don’t like cats. No worries though coz The Gilded Paw has lots of gorgeous stuff for your cats too. They even have airline approved cat carriers! Anyway, above are the stunning pink collars I found on their site. My heart is palpitating just by looking at them, lol! I know they would look great on Monica, my pet dog who has a dazzling ebony black fur. Pink on black rocks big time! Below is one of their pet carriers. Looks good doesn't it?? =)

OMG!!! I just stumbled on the most amazing online pet shop ever! They sell luxury pet supplies like super cutie dog clothes and luxury cat beds. The photo above is a sample of their dog beds-- it’s pink and oh-so cute!! I want one for my pet dog Monica, hehe! =) But before we go on talk about shopping, let’s backtrack a bit… My family is a certified pet lover. As far as I can remember, we always had pets in our house. It all started with 2 pet owls then we moved on to tropical fishes. After that we had Japanese Spitz dogs and since then, we were hooked on dogs. At the height of our dog loving mania, we had 19 of them in our house! We had 2 German Sheperds, 2 full-grown Dalmatians and 11 of its pups, 1 mixed breed, 2 Poodles, and 1 Cocker Spaniel. Whew!! Now, we are down to 7 and we’re still loving every minute with them!

Our dogs are pampered in the sense that we personally groom and feed them. We just don’t feed them pet food; we make sure they have fish, meat, and liver in a week to keep their diet balanced. Also, we give them vitamins to maintain their health. My mum trims their fur every so often, and we give them a bath once a week. Pampered as I said! =) Our dogs really have nothing to ask for, except perhaps some luxury items to show to their dog friends, hehe! Right now, I’m thinking of getting our small dogs luxury beds and some bling bling from The Gilded Paw. They have the cutest pet products ever (like the pink beds above), and I’m going crazy over choosing what to order! Thank god their shop is online coz if I were shopping in their “offline” store, I would really get 1 piece each of their adorable merchandise! Definitely not good for my pocket, lol :p
