top 5 torrent sites!

Another year ends and Top 10 lists of everything are being released left and right. Here's my fave list -- Top 5 torrent sites of 2007! Full article is HERE.

1. Mininova - Without a doubt the most visited BitTorrent site. In November, Mininova reached a milestone by entering the list of the 50 most visited websites on the Internet.

2. IsoHunt - IsoHunt continued to grow this year. In September they were forced to close their trackers to US traffic because of the issues they have with the MPAA, but this had no effect on the visitor count.

3. The Pirate Bay - The Pirate Bay has been in the news quite a bit this year and remains not only the most used BitTorrent tracker, but also one of the most visited BitTorrent sites. At the moment they are fighting with IsoHunt for the second place in this list.

4. Torrentz - Torrentz is the only “torrent site” in the top 10 that doesn’t host .torrent files. Several improvements and new features have been introduced over the past year such as a comment system, private bookmarks and a cleaner layout.

5. BTjunkie - BTjunkie was one of the fastest risers last year and continued to grow throughout 2007. Last month they were, like many others, forced to leave their ISP (LeaseWeb), but the transition to a new host went smoothly and didn’t result in any downtime.

Healthcare-related Training

Being a medical doctor (as yet to take the board exam) with 3 years clinical experience, my eyes have been opened to the fact that there other healthcare professionals out there. It’s not just doctors and nurses – there are medical assistants, techs in x-ray laboratory, occupational therapists and physical therapists, to name a few. From what I’ve heard, there are many licensed and practicing doctors who, when seeking greener pastures abroad, preferred to take the roles of medical assistants. Some people look down on what they thought of “demotion” on the part of the doctors. But that’s hardly true. According to a healthcare website, and I quote –

"At one time, doctors were thought of as the fabric of the medical institution, but things are changing with managed care as nurses and medical assistants are finally receiving rightful credit for their increasing role in patient care, performing examinations, administering therapy treatments, and managing insurance and billing records."

If you want to be a doctor but have no means to afford the expensive tuition fees (and can’t get a scholarship too), you can try and get into medical assistant training programs in medical assistant schools. This way, you are in the field you want and earn money to save up for your future medical school expenses IF and when you decide to enroll. Just search “medical assistant programs” in Google to see the choices available for you.

Boat Angel

But have no time? If you have an old boat which you’d like to donate then you’ll be doing charity work already! That is, if you donate it to Boat Angel, a part of Angel Ministries, that use boat donations to create children's animation DVDs and anti-drug documentaries. This charity company gives out the DVDs for FREE that contain positive videos that will inculcate good values to your kids. It may sound very simple – donate boat and help charity but promise, your boat will go a long way! So how does their charity works out? The members of the ministry refurbish the donated boats and sell them at eBay (where else??). The money from the sale will then be used to make the DVDs and for shipping fees.

If you’re interested about their Children's Christian Animations on DVDs, you can order them for free. To preview some of their videos and for more info, you can search YouTube with the term “carangel”. Just recently, the ministry has completed their AntiDrug Use documentary starring skateboard legends Jay Adams from Dogtown's Z Boys, Christian Hosoi, Dennis Martinez (world champion), Bruce Logan (world skateboarding champion) in their rise to fame, fall coz of drugs and finally redemption. So, will I donate my boat? If I have a used one, I’ll surely will. Unfortunately, I haven’t got one and I haven’t even ridden on a boat yet! LOL!

Mental Health

A couple of posts back, I shared my wish to pursue further studies online and that my course of choice (if ever) is Health Informatics (IT) coz it will complement my Medicine background and my love for computers =) As I browsed through Capella University’s site, I got interested in their online psychology degree. Psychology is another field I’m interested in, as well as Psychiatry. For me, the human mind is very elusive to all the experiments we’ve done to elucidate how it functions, how it works superbly. There is so much to discover about it, as well as how (and why) people interact the way they do. Mental health is a serious issue for me, and I think a course in Psychology and/or Psychiatry would do me good =)

what the holidays mean to me =)

What The Holidays Mean to You
For you, the holidays are about emotional connections and bonds. You are happiest being around those you love.

You celebrate the holidays in a natural style. Homemade gifts are your favorite, and you can't stand imitation Christmas trees or wreaths

During the holidays, you feel happily busy. There's so much do to and not a lot of time to do it. But you enjoy every minute of your holiday chores.

You think the holidays should be nostalgic and sweet. The holidays bring out your inner child.

Your best holiday memories are of childhood foods and traditions. You secretly still wish you believed in Santa Claus.

Capella University

Do an online search for online university and one school name that will keep popping up is that of capella university. I checked their website and I was amazed with the amount of courses they offer! Imagine, they have 104 graduate and undergrad specializations and 15 certificate programs in the fields of business, information technology, education, human services, public health, public safety, and psychology. I’m sure you’d find something that would suit your brain. As for myself, I’ve always wanted to pursue further studies online but I was unsure what online school I should trust with my tuition money. Hehe! And from the courses I saw in Capella University, I’m kinda leaning towards Health Informatics (IT). I feel the course will complement my background in Medicine =) Now all I need is the tuition money, and that should be in dollars baby!

Hotel Reservations!

The greatest thing in this website is that it offers more than hotel reservations despite their site’s name. They offer packages with airplane flights, car rentals, even tours! How cool is that?? Though you could also choose the combination you want while searching for deals, i.e. flights and tours only or car rental and resort only, etc. I tried the site and compared the prices they quoted for my searches against other travel sites, and boy, were they competitive! Most price quotes were cheaper, some were at par with the other sites. But Hotel Reservations doesn’t stop there, they also offer discounts on top of their cheap prices. And that applies to worldwide destinations. Yes my dears, this site is not limited to the US or Europe, but all over the world! I tell you, this site is really great. But why continue reading here when you can check out the site and see for yourself? Go and try their travel searches, you might be tempted to travel with their cheap prices! =) And the next time you want hotel discounts, or more than that, use their website first for better deals k?

FRUITCAKES!!!

.
Yum yum! :-) While most people dislike eating fruitcake, I adore it! Why? Coz my mother makes the most scrumptious fruitcakes ever!Ü Her secret? She doesn't scrimp on the ingredients -- she uses imported glazed fruits, molasses and liquor for that hard to beat delish fruitcake taste! And per tradition, my mother bakes lots of this for giveaways to relatives and friends. Want one?Ü

weddings!

A male cousin (hi Manong Oy!) just announced that he’s gonna wed his longtime sweetheart from our hometown next year. We are all excited about it coz this is the Tan family’s first wedding that’s going to take place in Kidapawan, our hometown. Manong Oy’s elder brother got married last year but it was in the hometown of the bride so most of the Tan family members weren’t able to attend. And then a high school friend of mine is busy preparing for her April wedding next year. Good thing she and her future hubby has plenty of money so they are able to hire a wedding coordinator. Less stress, lol! Anyway, all this wedding news got me thinking about my own wedding…
.
Love
.
Already, I can feel the pressure of planning and making things happen. Wahh! Happily, there are wedding websites that will help you plan the wedding of your dreams. The websites will even help you find the perfect place for your honeymoon. For now, I just contented myself with downloading the wedding planning checklist just to make myself familiar with the things that need to be done FIRST. By the way, if you are by chance living in Buffalo and is planning your own wedding too, check out Buffalo Weddings. They have plenty of wedding resources specifically found in your local area. Neat!

COCAINE!!!

If I were an illegal drug, I would be -- COCAINE! Oooh, scary! And exciting at the same time, lol! Hehe! =) Go answer this fun quiz!
.

Your Personality Is Like Cocaine
You're dynamic, brilliant, and alluring to those who don't know you. Hyper and full of energy, you're usually the last one to leave a party. Sometimes your sharp mind gets the better of you... you're a bit paranoid!
At your best: You're confident, euphoric, and feel like you're on top of the world. What people like about being around you: You're intense and overpowering.
What people dislike about being around you: You can be arrogant... and a bit of a jerk.
How addicted people get to you: Incredibly addictive. And hanging around with you isn't cheap!

chat for free!

For some reason, phone chat and chat lines are popular these holidays. Might it be because people are looking for someone special to share the cold season with? Or maybe they just want to take advantage of the free chat service being offered by websites like Talk121, hehe! I, for one, can't resist freebies! And if the freebie would allow me to yak for hours over the phone, well, I won't certainly pass it up! Would you? ;p

merry christmas!

Finally got around to making a Christmas desktop for our PC! This desktop QP is from PinkuPixie.com -- the woman who runs this blog is so talented! And the freebies she offer are printables, i.e. she has lots of Christmas tags, ready-made Christmas cards, etc. All you have to do is personalize her freebies, print it out and voila! Instant pretty Christmas stuff =)

Sweeney Todd is coming!!!

If you’re like me who’s a Johnny Depp fanatic, I’m sure you have your favorite Johnny Depp movies and favorite moments in those films. Me? I loved him in the scary Sleepy Hollow and in the fun, fun, fun Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! I know most of you loved Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean, true, he was great there but.. I just loved him more in Sleepy Hollow as Ichabod Crane and as Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I still can’t decide which film I loved most, lol! In Sleepy Hollow, he played a constable who investigates the murders done by the Headless Horseman. Here’s my favorite dialogue from the film:
.
Katrina Anne Van Tassel (his love interest): Will you take nothing from Sleepy Hollow that was worth the coming here?
Ichabod Crane: No. No, not nothing. [pauses]
Ichabod Crane: A kiss, from a lovely young woman, before she saw my face or knew my name.
Katrina Anne Van Tassel: Yes, without sense or reason. {CUTE HUH?? hehe}
.
Anyway, I can’t wait to watch Johnny Depp again! Sweeney Todd is set for a Christmas-time release. For more info about this dark (yet entertaining) movie from Tim Burton, go visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site. You can also visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace. Yes, boys and girls, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street is there too. Come, and join the fun! Lol!

badly need a heater!

Up here in our home nestled in the mountains, the temperature is cold even during daytime. An advantage, really, especially during hot summer days. But now, with the onset of Christmas, everything just got colder and wetter. What with everyday rain Heatershowers accompanied with gusty wind! Brrr! During evenings, it’s a common sight to see me bundled with a thick blanket, hehe =) The cold situation got me thinking, what if we had a fireplace? Or just even a heater? Mmm, our home would be toasty and warm! As for heaters, I’ve heard of those running on natural gas (see photo at left) and propane. In rich homes, they even have gas garage heaters! Yes, they even have heaters in their garage, as if someone lives there, lol! In our case, one heater in the center of our home will do. And I think I’ll go for a natural gas type. Cheaper and greener!

Malagos Garden Resort MACAW!

I've been to many animal shows (dolphin, sealion, horse, dog, etc) but I've never seen a bird show before. And I was in luck coz Malagos Garden Resort (where we are right now for the Shell Family Day and Christmas Party 2007) has one. And an interactive show at that! The show is hosted by Dr. Bo, a vet and boy, was I impressed :-) The show featured doves, parrots, macaws, ducks, brahminy kites, hawks and several other raptors. There was a basketball game, a waste segregation lesson, a courtship, name it- the Malagos Bird Show had it. Hehe! If you're interested, there's a show every Sunday at 10am. Go watch!Ü

ONLINE BACKGAMMON!

I must admit I'm not much into board games except for chess so backgammon is relatively new to me. And I was kinda surprised it's really popular, coz if it's not, would there even be a backgammon online version? I think not! For those like me who is not familiar with backgammon, here's a brief description from Wikipedia:

Backgammon is a board game for two players in which checkers (also called pieces, stones, men, counters, pawns or chips) are moved after each roll of the dice. A player wins by removing all of his checkers from the board. As the playing time for each individual game is short, it is often played in matches, where victory is awarded to the first player to reach a certain number of points.

So far, the online backgammon I've tried is the one in Mister Gammon. Just download their software and get ready to play against backgammon players worldwide. If you think you're really good, join the tournaments. So, shall I see you there?? =)

P.S. Where's the best online store to buy golf bags? Need it by Christmas! =)

Golden Globes Nominations

Digital Hoop!

We Pinoys are fond of pre-owned things (clothes, bags, shoes, etc) that we can buy for a lesser price than the brand new ones. And would you believe that even pre-owned IT products are being sold online?? Introducing Digital Hoop! The company buys, sells, and trades IT networking hardware equipment. New, used, and refurbished routers, switches, and other equipment from Cisco Systems are being sold at prices 50% to 90% off their list price! Imagine that, used Cisco products for sale! I wonder what Cisco will say when they find out their products are being refurbished and sold again, lol! And get this, Digital Hoop even offers 1-year warranty for their used products. Nice one eh??

need help in online casino playing?

Many of the popular websites these days are online casinos; whether you like to play poker, bingo, blackjack, slots, roulette, or craps, name it – online casinos have it! Why go all the way to Las Vegas, Nevada (and other gambling spots) when you can play all you want in online casinos from the comforts of your own home? The only problem is finding a trustworthy online casino gambling company with the best odds for players. According to an online casino reviews website, there are more than 3000 online casinos right now! Can you imagine filtering through 3000 sites just to find the best online casino for you?? Hard work man!
.
But don’t fret, GambleCraft.com is here to save the day! This website has been reviewing online casinos and software, and they also teach strategies for casino games like roulette, video poker, slots and many more. You can also download your casino game software of choice from their website. Their aim is to assist you in learning the proper casino gambling strategies so you will have better odds of winning at online casinos. Isn’t that great?? But guys, always remember, gambling can be addicting (online or offline) so only lose what you can afford okay? Good luck!

cars -- post #3!

LOL! And yet again, I blog in twos and threes, hehe! This is my third back-to-back CAR post already, and hopefully the last one :p I was thinking of a nice expensive gift for my father coz it's gonna be like a Christmas + Birthday gift for him. The first idea that came to my mind is a new set of car covers. The problem -- should it be leather? Cloth? Plastic? Or, umm, what else is there ba?? I really have no idea! Guys, if you know someone or a store that makes custom-made car covers, please contact me ha. Thanks! =)

still on cars!

This time about car accidents. Morbid topic huh? Unlike here in our country, car accidents seldom go to court. Often the accident compensation is resolved driver to driver or to victim. In case you’re in Baltimore, USA and badly need a Baltimore car accident attorney, you can checkout AttorneysForTheInjured.com … Aside from offering their services to Baltimore residents, they also offer it to other US states. Just check out the site ok?

car repainted!

I already forgot the reason (getting senile at a young age! gakk!) but my father got one side of our car repainted last week. The area for paint repair? Just below the chrome door handle of the car. I had fun watching the painter trying not to apply paint on the said handle accidentally, hehe! After all, car chrome accessories are notoriously hard to find if you want something specific to your vehicle (ours is an old Sportage). In the end, the painter put masking tape all over the door handle and the nearby chrome areas. Easy solution, lol! So the car got repainted without any major incidents =)

free chat!

If you love to yak over the phone and meet interesting persons over the airwaves, then this post is for you! Coz I found a great way to do these stuff for FREE! Yeah, you heard me, free chat over the phone with *hopefully* single guys and gurls! Hehe! Here are your choices of websites: Chat Lines, Chat Free and Free Teen Chat. They all offer free calls and they have a list of phone numbers in over 150 cites where anyone over 18 can chat live on the phone. With their service, you can also leave Voice Personals for others to hear when you are off the phone. The best thing? Callers don't have to give out their REAL phone numbers and are anonymous when they are on the system. Now, ain't that great?? =)

health product trends for 2008!

Do you know what ProBiotics are? How about SuperFruits? If medical associations recommend products that contain these stuff, would you buy it? These are just few of the survey questions found below, hehe =) Scroll down for my answers. And remember, if you want to earn money, answer dNeero's surveys and post it in your blogs! Easy as 1-2-3 =)
.

selling gold! =)

Before I got my own Paypal address, I used e-gold for my online transactions. But the company’s name is misleading coz it doesn’t just offer gold to back up your money deposits-- they also offer silver, palladium, and other precious metals. So what’s the concept behind using precious metals, especially gold, in exchange for money? If you remember your World History, precious metals were used directly as currency in the olden times. To preserve their wealth, rich people hoard their gold. And so modern man stumbled on the idea that gold is an investment product. Today, gold can be bought in coin or ingot form. Ingots are generally gold ingots of pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape while coins have a currency value. So friend, wanna buy some gold? I have some for sale! In electronic form, that is =)

need help with school papers?

Don't fret! Especially if you have extra money stashed somewhere. You can use that to purchase term papers, hehe! And you don't even have to go to Recto, promise! If you don't know what's in Recto, then.. Never mind! Hehe! *evil grin* Anyway, students these days are quite lucky coz there are online companies that offer custom writing services and for a fee, they will make your research papers, term papers, theses, and book reports. So great!!! If I were in college now, I’d definitely use the report writing services offered by these companies. Especially if I'm stuck with gazillions of biology research papers, hehe =)

need a massage?

You don’t have to go to a massage parlor anymore! Or call a massage expert to go to your home. You can have your massage anytime, right at the comforts of your own home. How? Through massage chairs of course! A month ago, when I was strolling in one of the malls in Manila, there was a free offer to try a massage chair. Boy, it felt good sitting in a comfy chair while there were sensations of hands rapidly tapping on my back, gentle rolling alternating strokes and kneading to work out knots and ease soreness of my body! Though some would say that a robotic massage chair can never replace the human touch, well, let me just tell you that there is a company known as HUMAN TOUCH. And guess what??

Massagechairs

thankful =)

About 10 years ago, internet connectivity was just beginning to invade the quiet lives of people in Davao City. Internet then was very slow and was only available in computer rental shops at expensive rates. As the years went by and as internet became a fixture in our lives, rental prices went down. And finally, residential broadband plans were made available. Four years later, I am still and truly thankful for it coz it enabled me to explore tons of stuff I wouldn’t have learned offline. And because of it, I was able to earn online from the comforts of my home via blogging. As the year ends, I started thinking of other stuff I am thankful for. And I sure have lots to be grateful for! How about you guys? What are you thankful for?

VEGAS!!!

I recently watched a documentary about Las Vegas in Discovery channel. It was an eye-opener for me! Did you know that the Vegas Strip (see below) has the most number of hotel rooms per square area anywhere in the world? And it's the only place in the world you'd see the Eiffel Tower with a pirate ship, a volcano and a beautiful fountain nearby. As the people in the desert state of Nevada say, it's only in Vegas baby! =) But despite the high number of expensive hotels in the Strip, there are affordable and cheap hotel Las Vegas. So if you're raring to visit Vegas, don't hesitate! It won't leave holes in your pocket, unless you're a heavy gambler. Hehe!

camping thoughts..

With all the free time I have in my hands now (though a bit busy coz of the Christmas season), I can’t help but think of the things I want to do. Foremost in my mind is to go camping! I miss my elementary and high school days when we go camping in school grounds, hehe! My best camping experience however was when we climbed Mt. Apo in 1998. We brought preserved food so we don’t have to cook in high altitude. And as part of the camping SOP, we brought lots of safety utility knife, first aid items, materials against cold, etc. Sigh.. If I could climb Mt. Apo again, it would be glorious!

buying online

I'm no stranger to buying stuff online. I started when DavaoSale.com came online and that's where I bought my hard drives, my flash drives, etc. I also sold some of my books there =) And then the day came that I finally trusted ebay. I have since bought more than 50 books there (mostly Dragonlance) and I never had a transaction problem. Whoopee! Buying online is a norm for me but dNeero's survey below posed a challenge to me -- will I buy my groceries online?? Scroll down the survey panel for my answers!

pre-owned stuff!

We Pinoys are fond of pre-owned things (clothes, bags, shoes, etc) that we can buy for a lesser price than the brand new ones. And would you believe that even pre-owned IT products are being sold online?? Introducing Sapia Networks! The company buys, sells, and trades IT networking hardware equipment. New, used, and refurbished routers, switches, and other equipment from Cisco Systems, Foundry, Marconi-Fore Systems, Riverstone, and other top manufacturers are being sold at prices 50% to 90% off their list price! Imagine that, used Cisco products for sale! I wonder what the IT companies will say when they find out their products are being refurbished and sold again, lol!

real estate flipping

A couple of posts back, I related that investing in real estate is a good moneymaker. I researched about what’s new in the real estate market and I stumbled on the term real estate flipping. So, what does it mean? Real estate flipping is “the practice of acquiring property and reselling it in less than 12 months” -- hopefully at a profit. Flippers (name for the people who practice it) often boasted turning profits of thousands of dollars in only a few days. Isn’t that great?? I’m currently looking into this lucrative business so stay tuned!

mark your calendars!

Blogger's Unite
.
This coming December 17 is "Acts of Kindness" day as initiated by BlogCatalog and supported by my favorite company PayPerPost =) So how does this project work? On December 17 (Monday), all bloggers are encouraged to perform a random act of kindness, then blog about it. Submit your post and you may win the highly coveted 8gb iTouch! Doing something good never had a reward as great as this, LOL! Here's a snippet from the official site:
.
"The Acts of Kindness bloggers unite challenge aims at putting a human face on bloggers who are responsible for so much good in the world. The goal is to expose their kindness and generosity as well as serve as an example to non-bloggers that volunteering for a charity, donating to a cause, or simply doing something kind for another person has a ripple effect around the world. Maybe 20,000 bloggers, vloggers, and photographers will make a difference."

USA baby!

Last week, my boyfriend emailed his aunt in the US of A to wish her a Happy Thanksgiving. She’s working as a head nurse in Manhattan, New York and is doing quite well. His aunt emailed him back and told him to apply for a tourist visa to USA so he could visit her and have a grand time in Big Apple. The problem now is to find cheap flights to USA. My suggestion? To check out the DialAFlight website. DialAFlight is a UK travel company where you can search for flights, hotels & travel ideas worldwide. What sets them apart from other travel agencies is that to book a flight, you need to call and speak with their travel consultants who will ensure that your planned holiday is exactly as you want it. Sounds great! Nothing like a holiday that is perfect from start to finish =) So New York, watch out, my boyfriend’s gonna paint you red! LOL!

ME!!!

Cute child huh? Hehe! That's lil old me circa 1983. I'm roughly 2 years old in this photo and as you noticed, my hair is very thin. This alarmed my mother since most kids by this time have heads full of shaggy hair. And you know how it is in our culture -- the woman's hair is her crowning glory.Ü To solve my hair problem, Mama applied coconut milk (or was it the oil?) on my hair everyday til I was 5 years old. Yeah, mother's love, what can I say? Hehe!Ü

want hotel discounts?

Or, as they say in Spanish, descuento en hoteles =) If you are a Spanish-speaking traveler suffering from wanderlust and feels the need to soar and travel around the world, but is afraid of facing the problems associated with booking tickets and hotels rooms in an English speaking website -- fret not coz Hotels.com has a Spanish version already! Isn't that great?? They even have dedicated customer service center (call 800-316-4145) to answer all your queries, in Spanish of course. The new Spanish site has been designed specifically to meet the needs and interests of Spanish-speaking individuals in the United States. Now, you don't have any reason to delay your dream vacation any longer =) Tener un viaje sin problemas!

cleaning up!

WOW! Back to back HEALTH MATTERS posts, lol! As I noted in an old post, when I blog, it seems that I blog in pairs or groups. That is, the back to back posts are in the same vein. Previously my blog posts were all about travel then there was a spell where I blog about money matters on and on -- and then now, health matters! =) Anyway, for this post I'll talk about detoxifying our bodies. With the coming Christmas parties and all, it would be very easy to overeat and forget about our health (and our gastrointestinal tract to be specific). But fret not, after all the overeating, you can cleanse your insides and swear to eat healthy foods ever after. Lol!
.
There are many colon cleanse formulas in the market now, and it's really up to you (or your doctor) on what to choose. These products help our body get rid of the accumulated waste and undigested matter in our intestines. Removing the wastes will prevent toxins from being absorbed by the body. Potential benefits include less bloating and an overall trimmer silhouette. I have been interested about body detox ever since I read about the high incidence of colon cancer in persons with low-fiber, high-meat diet. I told myself that I need to detoxify my body then start eating right. But so far I’ve done nothing, tsk! Think I'm gonna put this in my New Year's resolutions for 2008. How about you guys?

surgical way to lose weight

The hottest type of surgical procedure for losing weight right now is the Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding or LAGB / LAP-BAND® System procedure. Unlike other weight loss surgery procedures, the Lap Band surgery is less invasive. The surgeon just inserts an inflatable adjustable gastric band through small (laparoscopic) incisions and positions the band around the upper portion of your stomach. This creates a small stomach pouch and passageway into the lower part of the stomach. This will allow you to feel full and satisfied even though you’re actually eating less. It doesn’t require cutting, stapling or rerouting of the stomach or intestines thus, risks are lower and there are less serious long-term complications. The procedure can even be performed in an outpatient (day surgery) setting! That means recovery period is shorter than the other bariatric surgical procedures. If you are interested, please consult your doctor for further information. Here’s to living healthy and living lite! =)

AHFAT!

Finally I get to taste Ahfat's super yummy Chinese cuisine again! It's been a long while since our family ate here, more than 3 months I think.Ü As usual we ordered the family favorites of eight treasure soup, fried spicy spare ribs and sea cucumber with pork tendons :-) If you're a foodie who's been to Davao and never ate in Ahfat, shame on you! Hehe!

finished XMAS shopping! =)

Finished Christmas shopping for my family and Labsie's family today. It was really fun while we hunted for imported bargains =) Labsie complained of sore feet and we didn't even walked around the mall stores a lot! Maybe guys are just made differently from women. WE are built to last, at least while shopping. Hehe!
